LE TOURNESOL (Sunflower) forms the western end of our south-facing
traditional stone farmhouse. It provides excellent accommodation for six
guests. Le Tournesol is in a very private setting, with large gardens, it's own
EXCLUSIVE swimming pool and wonderful views over the rolling countryside.
The Ground Floor
There is a large lounge (20ftx18ft approx.) with 'brossage' style stone walls,
beamed ceiling and triple French doors which lead onto the south facing patio. It is a
light and airy room which is very comfortably furnished with seating and dining
areas. We provide a radio/CD/cassette player, a TV with a SKY box for viewing
English channels and a DVD player. A range of English books and games are also
provided. WiFi is available for your use.
Kitchen - The stylish corner kitchen is incorporated within the lounge area and is
very well equipped with Zanussi cooker, hob, microwave, and fridge.
Twin Bedroom - on the ground floor there is a twin bedroom with brossage walls and
tiled floor.
The Upper Floor
A Master Double bedroom with brossage stone walls, pine floor, old oak beams
and a velux window for light and ventilation. There is an en suite bathroom with
brossage walls and pine ceiling. It includes a walk in shower, toilet and vanitory
unit.
Twin bedroom - A large bedroom, very comfortably furnished with a pine floor
and ceiling. There is a small south-facing window and large velux window for
light and ventilation.
Second bathroom - with shower, toilet and vanitory unit. There is a washing
machine located in this area.
The Swimming Pool
The adjacent pool, which is kept in pristine
condition, is 9 m x 5m and of the 9m the first 4m is
1m in depth, allowing safe bathing for toddlers and
non-swimmers. Children can be easily supervised
from the large south-facing sun terrace, which is
well equipped with parasols and sun loungers.
There is a separate area adjacent to the pool for al
fresco dining. Campsis and passionflower plants
weave their way through the wood and bamboo
pergola, which shade this area. A barbecue is
provided.
Guests renting Le Tournesol have EXCLUSIVE use
of the swimming pool.
The Gardens
The gite has it's own large private gardens. There are
trees to provide shade for those hot days, space to
relax and a large area for children to play football,
volleyball, badminton etc.
Around the patio and pool there are colourful flower
beds.
